Renowned expert Dr. Nashtir Anayat while speaking to local media outlet stressed the importance of drinking clean or boiled water, maintaining proper hygiene in food preparation and handling, and avoiding contaminated meals to reduce the risk of infection. DNA<br \/>\nHe said stomach diseases tend to surge in summer, particularly in Karachi, where high temperatures and unsafe food practices contribute to a growing number of patients seeking treatment.<br \/>\nThe expert also advised people not to consume Eid meat that has been stored in refrigerators for long or handled improperly, warning that spoiled meat could cause serious food poisoning and digestive infections. Dr. Anayat recommended staying well hydrated, washing hands regularly, eating freshly prepared meals and ensuring food was stored safely to prevent bacterial contamination.<br \/>\nHe urged families to remain vigilant and seek medical care if symptoms like persistent diarrhea, repeated vomiting or signs of dehydration appear, emphasizing that awareness and timely precautions could help curb the seasonal rise in stomach illnesses.
