An Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) official told APP that the CTO inspected traffic management measures along the procession route and issued necessary directions to officers deployed on duty to ensure smooth traffic flow and facilitate mourners. The official said more than 350 ITP personnel had been deployed to regulate traffic and implement the traffic management plan during the central Muharram procession. Kainat directed field officers to remain vigilant, perform their duties with professionalism and ensure uninterrupted traffic management in and around the procession route.
