Chairperson, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid on Tuesday said special mobilization and monitoring teams were being trained and deployed across the country to facilitate beneficiary women and ensure the smooth implementation of the Digital Wallet payment system ahead of the upcoming Benazir Kafaalat payments.
\nShe was addressing a large-scale training session held at the BISP Headquarters to ensure the effective implementation of the new payment system for the upcoming Benazir Kafaalat installment through Digital Wallets.
\nShe said the Digital Wallet system was being introduced to provide beneficiary women with a more convenient, secure and dignified payment experience. The session was attended by BISP officers and staff.
\nThe chairperson emphasized that the successful implementation of the initiative depended on the active contribution of every team member. She said that with the launch of the new payment system, BISP had established dedicated mobilization and monitoring teams, which were being trained and deployed to the field.
\nThese teams would visit Points of Sale (POS) and relevant locations and remain available to guide and support beneficiary women throughout the payment process. Chairperson BISP further said that if any beneficiary woman required assistance regarding payments, the Digital Wallet system, or wished to register a complaint or seek information, she could approach BISP representatives present in the field. Beneficiaries could also visit their respective BISP offices for support and guidance.
\nSenator Rubina Khalid acknowledged that, as with any new system, some initial challenges might arise.
\nHowever, she said proactive measures were already being taken to address issues in advance and facilitate beneficiaries.
\nThe objective of the training session, she added, was to equip field teams with complete information so they could effectively assist women and promptly resolve issues during the payment process.
\nThe chairperson acknowledged the challenging weather conditions and said that despite the extreme heat, the teams must continue to deliver.
\nShe emphasized that serving beneficiary women was a noble public service in which every individual had an important role to play.
\nLater, Director General Cash Transfer, Mr. Muhammad Idrees Mian, provided participants with comprehensive information regarding the new Digital Wallet payment system.
\nHe delivered a detailed briefing on operational procedures, field support arrangements, beneficiary guidance mechanisms and implementation processes, and encouraged staff to actively contribute towards the successful rollout of the new system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
