Director General Kaghan Development Authority Rehmat Ali attended the event as chief guest, while Assistant Director Planning Asad Shehzad, KDA staff and office-bearers of the Rafting Union Naran were also present. Speaking on the occasion, DG Rehmat Ali praised the rafting rescue team for its professionalism, bravery and sense of duty, saying the personnel had saved precious lives and set an example for others to follow. He said rafting is an important part of tourism and added that KDA\u2019s technical team monitors standard operating procedures on a daily basis.<br \/>\n He assured that further steps would be taken to strengthen the capacity of the rafting rescue team.<br \/>\nAt the ceremony, cash prizes and certificates were distributed among the personnel in recognition of their timely response and successful
