Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Saturday, invited Turkish companies to expand their investment footprint in Pakistan\u2019s priority sectors, including energy, mining and minerals, infrastructure, maritime and logistics, information technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, agriculture and privatization.<\/p>\n
The prime minister held a series of meetings with senior executives of Turkiye\u2019s leading business groups and industry organizations in Istanbul, reaffirming Pakistan\u2019s commitment to strengthening economic cooperation and attracting greater Turkish investment across key sectors of the economy.<\/p>\n
He met with Chairman of Cal\u0131k Holding Ahmet Cal\u0131k; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Albayrak Group Ahmet Albayrak and President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkiye (TOBB) Rifat Hisarc\u0131kl\u0131oglu, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.<\/p>\n

\nDuring the meetings, the prime minister underscored the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Turkiye and emphasized the importance of translating the two countries\u2019 exceptional relationship into a stronger economic and investment partnership.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe highlighted Pakistan\u2019s improving macroeconomic fundamentals, investor-friendly policy framework and the Government\u2019s commitment to ensuring a transparent, predictable and business-friendly investment environment,\u201d the press release added.<\/p>\n
The prime minister He said the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), working in close coordination with the relevant federal and provincial authorities, continues to provide one-window facilitation and institutional support for strategic investors.<\/p>\n
In his meeting with Cal\u0131k Holding, the prime minister emphasized Pakistan\u2019s significant opportunities in energy, infrastructure, information technology and privatization.<\/p>\n
He welcomed the company\u2019s interest in expanding its operations in Pakistan, noting that its existing presence through Cal\u0131k Enerji and GAP \u0130nSaat provides a strong foundation for deeper cooperation.<\/p>\n
The prime minister also appreciated Albayrak Group\u2019s longstanding engagement in Pakistan and encouraged the company to further expand its investments in maritime infrastructure, port modernization and logistics, recognizing its important contribution to Pakistan\u2019s connectivity and infrastructure development.<\/p>\n
In his meeting with the president of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkiye (TOBB), the prime minister appreciated the organization\u2019s continued efforts to strengthen business-to-business engagement between Pakistan and Turkiye.<\/p>\n
