Acting as a responsible citizen, he turned back and stopped near the motorcycle.<br \/>\nThe woman managed to run to the other side of the vehicle, but the confrontation escalated. The alleged assailant, identified as Saad, began arguing with Group Captain Asim and within moments opened fire. The officer sustained critical injuries and succumbed shortly afterward. The suspect fled the scene.<br \/>\nPolice officials stated that the woman later revealed the accused was her office colleague. He had offered to take her to work but allegedly diverted the route, attempting to take her elsewhere. When she resisted, he tried to overpower her. Group Captain Asim\u2019s timely intervention saved her from further harm.
