The interim ceasefire agreement signed between Washington and Tehran\u2013under the mediation of Pakistan\u2013was intended to provide a 60-day window for negotiations on a permanent agreement, but indirect talks in Qatar ended last week with no sign of headway and the US military unleashed a new wave of strikes against Iran on Tuesday.<br \/>\n\u201cTo me, I think it\u2019s over. I don\u2019t want to deal with them,\u201d Trump said ahead of a NATO summit in the Turkish capital Ankara. \u201cThey\u2019re scum. They\u2019re sick people. They\u2019re led by sick people,\u201d he added alongside NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. \u201cAs far as I\u2019m concerned, it\u2019s just a waste of time dealing with them.\u201d<br \/>\nThe US on Tuesday also revoked a license allowing Iran to sell oil after three tankers were hit by projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz.
