\nThis historic philatelic issue pays tribute to Sadequain\u2019s extraordinary contributions to art, calligraphy, literature, and Pakistan\u2019s cultural heritage. Recognized internationally for his monumental murals, revolutionary calligraphic style, and enduring artistic vision, Sadequain continues to inspire generations of artists and admirers around the world.
\nThe highlight of the event was the formal unveiling of The World\u2019s Longest Commemorative Postage Stamp, an unprecedented philatelic achievement that represents a unique fusion of art, culture, and innovation. The issue marks a significant milestone in Pakistan Post\u2019s philatelic history and reflects the organization\u2019s continued commitment to preserving and promoting the nation\u2019s cultural heritage.
\nThe concept and design of this remarkable commemorative issue were developed by Abu Obaidah Ayyaz, Pakistan\u2019s youngest postage stamp designer, in collaboration with Hasnain Mahmud, whose shared vision transformed the project into a landmark philatelic tribute worthy of Sadequain\u2019s unparalleled artistic legacy.
\nAlongside the commemorative stamp and souvenir sheet, Pakistan Post also released a specially designed First Day Cover (FDC), an informative Philatelic Leaflet, and dedicated commemorative cancellation marks (cancellers), providing collectors with a complete and memorable philatelic package.
