A clear contradiction exists between both of them.<br \/>\nIf any citizen is kept under illegal detention and later a misleading report is filed in the court, it is a cognizable offence. It cannot be ignored.<br \/>\nThe court while issuing decision on the petition filed by the petitioner Maqsooda Bibi maintained that according to the petitioner Gulfam Ali was formally released from jail on June 27, 2026.<br \/>\nHowever soon after his release, persons in plain clothes took him into their custody outside the jail.<br \/>\nThe court directed DPO Okara to register case against the respective police officer and file progress report in the court.<br \/>\nUnder the court\u2019s order CCD inspector Defence Lahore Akhtar Ali took the plea while filing report Gulfam Ali was arrested in connection with a case registered in Okara.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE Lahore High Court (LHC) has observed that filing misleading report in the court is cognizable offence.
