\nPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi General Secretary Arslan Khalid strongly criticized the 18-year performance of the Sindh government during a press conference at Insaf House Karachi, alleging a complete failure in law and order, education, and healthcare sectors.
\nDuring the press conference, he stated that the country is currently suffering from severe instability, where there is not even the capacity to maintain petrol prices for a month.
\nHe added that PTI will continue to highlight public issues in accordance with the vision of its leader, Imran Khan, whose unjust imprisonment is approaching three years.
\nExpressing deep concern over the alleged manipulation of Matric Board results, he demanded an immediate judicial inquiry from the Sindh government to stop playing with the educational careers of children.
\nSpeaking on the health sector, Arslan Khalid revealed that despite a budget of billions of rupees, AIDS and HIV cases are continuously being reported in Karachi, while even rabies vaccinations are unavailable in government hospitals.
\nHe regretted that the role of the Sindh Police has been reduced only to providing protocol to the rulers and they have failed to control crime.<\/p>\n
Blaming the administration for negligence, he said that fake doctors are hired in hospitals and illegal blood banks are operating without any check and balance. Regarding the deteriorating law and order situation, he cited a Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) report, stating that between May 1 and May 31, 2026, 2,240 two-wheelers (motorcycles) were stolen in just one month, while 56 citizens were martyred by thieves\u2019 gunfire during robberies.<\/p>\n
The PTI Karachi General Secretary, reacting to the media statement of Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani, said that the minister himself admitted that 20 billion rupees were lost to corruption in his department.
\nTherefore, due to the lack of government writ and such massive corruption, the minister concerned and the Chief Minister of Sindh should immediately resign from their posts. He satirically added that due to the incompetence of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Karachi remains on The Economist\u2019s list of the world\u2019s least liveable cities, and despite billions in budgets, the public has not received clean roads or relief from garbage.
\nHe expressed confidence that they have full faith in the judiciary, and Imran Khan will soon be acquitted of all cases to lead the representation of Pakistanis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
