During the hearing of the matter legal advisor to defence ministry made it clear the delay has not been made by the respective departments or EC but it has been caused due to non approval by federal government. Legal advisor said no delay has been caused from our side. The approval from federal government is pending since May 31. CEC said on this occasion your statement has come on record.
