\nMinister of State for Interior and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) election coordinator for Poonch Division, Talal Chaudhry, chaired a high-level meeting to review the party\u2019s preparations for the third phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections, expressing confidence that the party\u2019s governance record continues to resonate with voters.
\nThe meeting was attended by district coordinators, constituency coordinators and PML-N\u2019s nominated candidates from Poonch Division. Participants reviewed the party\u2019s election campaign, organizational arrangements and polling day strategy to ensure effective coordination ahead of the next phase of voting.
\nAddressing the meeting, Chaudhry said the party\u2019s performance in the first two phases of the AJK elections reflected the confidence of the Kashmiri people in the governance of the federal and Punjab governments. He maintained that voters had supported what he described as a record of performance and public service.
\n\u201cThe people of Kashmir voted for work and performance,\u201d the minister said, adding that the electoral outcome demonstrated growing public appreciation for the government\u2019s development agenda. He further asserted that every region of Pakistan aspired to achieve the level of development associated with Punjab.
\nCommenting on the political opposition, Chaudhry urged Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to accept the election results gracefully, remarking that political leaders should show composure in the face of electoral defeat.
