Says no reason to fear Pakistan-Turkiye-Saudi security pact

\nIran said on Monday that bilateral ties between Islamabad and Tehran have become \u201ceven more important than before\u201d since the war began, with Pakistan serving as the key mediator.
\nIran\u2019s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf were invited by Pakistan to visit Islamabad for talks, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said.
\nAraghchi and Ghalibaf will visit \u201cat an appropriate time,\u201d he said in statements carried by Iran\u2019s state-run Press TV. He did not provide further details as to when the visit will take place.
\n\u201cReciprocal visits and exchanges are a natural part of the growing ties between the two neighbouring countries. The relationship between Iran and Pakistan is a very important one,\u201d he added.
\nBaghaei further said that he sees no reason to be concerned that a new security pact between Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia is \u201cdirected against Tehran\u201d.
\nAccording to Al Jazeera, he stated that the regional military alliance reflected growing awareness that the US cannot guarantee security and is itself a source of insecurity in the Middle East.
\nHe said the \u201cMakkah Joint Defence Agreement\u201d reflected a shift in regional countries\u2019 approach to security, with a shift away from reliance on US power.
\n\u201cAny plan that is based on the geopolitical and historical realities of the region, is comprehensive and inclusive, and correctly identifies the enemy and the threat, has a chance of helping to strengthen security and prevent instability and abuses by the Zionist enemy and its allies,\u201d he added, referring to Israel.
