\nFourteen newborns who died in a fire at the the nursery of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) have been laid to rest.
\n14 newborns were killed on Wednesday after a fire broke out on the third floor of the Mother and Child Hospital\u2019s ward at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital.
\nAccording to RESCUE authorities there were 15 newborns in nursery when fire broke out and lady doctor could recue only one .
\nAccording to hospital documents the identification of deceased new born infants have come to light. Twins of one citizen Bahadar also died in the incident.
\nAccording to RESCUE authorities fire brigade vehicles extinguished the fire. Later the process of cooling continued. 19 persons including women have been rescued.
\nAll the technical staff appointed in children ward has been suspended. 14 deceased infants children have been laid to rest.
\nThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia\u2019s condemnation of the fatal fire at a children\u2019s hospital in Islamabad, which resulted in the deaths of at least 14 newborns.
\nThe Embassy of the People\u2019s Republic of China in Pakistan officially extended its deepest condolences and sympathies to the grieving families following the devastating fire at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital in Islamabad, which claimed the lives of 14 newborn infants.
