However, ongoing development projects initiated by the district administrations across the IESCO region\u2014such as the construction of new flyovers, underpasses, new 11kV feeders, road widening projects, and other related works\u2014require the temporary shifting of electricity poles and other power installations. For this purpose, limited-duration temporary shutdowns are occasionally required. In this regard, on Monday, October 05, 2026, from 07:00 AM to 02:00 PM, there will be a temporary interruption in electricity supply in Rawalpindi City Circle: Qadeer Road, KRL Feeders, from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Millatabad, Dhoke Chaudhrian, Peshawar Road, Askari-XI, Coblane Feeders, Islamabad Circle: from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Islamabad Club-1, Islamabad Club-2, Mehfooz Shaheed \/ Shahzad Town, Filtration Plant, Pindorian, Scheme-2, Orchard Scheme, CDA Pump Feeders. IESCO management apologizes to its valued consumers for this temporary interruption in electricity supply. The sole purpose of these shutdowns is to facilitate the timely completion of development projects being undertaken by the district administration. For the convenience of consumers, temporary electricity shutdown schedules are also uploaded on IESCO\u2019s official website, www.iesco.com.pk, and its official social media platforms, including Facebook (IESCO Updates) and Twitter\/X (IESCO Official Pk).
