PESHAWAR: Office bearers of All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) along with others clerks of various government departments asked Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and Secretary Excise and Taxation department to stop Muhammad Aslam an Excise Inspector, from interfering in affairs of association.
\nBanaras Khan Jadoon, central president of All Pakistan Clerks Association while talking to a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Friday said that Muhammad Aslam was president of APCA KP chapter in 2009 as serving clerk but since than he has been appointed as Excise Inspector and have no right to intervene in association matters.
\nDespite cancellation of his membership by central president, he said that former APCA KP president conducted elections in 2015 unlawfully in Peshawar district.
\nThe central president had formed an interim cabinet under the leadership of Orangzeb Kashmiri for KP to hold polls in the province. When Kashmiri announced the schedule for provincial election, Aslam challenged the election in civil court said Mr Jadoon.
\nHowever, he maintained after court decision, Aslam had lost the APCA leadership and membership rights morally and constitutionally since 2008. He said that the APCA ex-president played a vital role in disintegration of the association and used the union for his personal interest instead of serving for clerks community.
\nFlanked by others office bearers including Prince Farman Ali Khan Yousafzai, Chairman APCA district Peshawar, Haji Zakir Ullah, district president, Mumtaz Ali Khan, senior vice president, Malik Sajjad Ullah, vice president, Mian Amjad, general secretary and others, he said that a notification had been issued by the APCA regarding Aslam seizing membership in 2015.
\nThat Mr Alsam Khan, Ex-Assistant now Excise Inspector is no more the member of Clerk Community, therefore, his membership of APCA is hereby seized with immediate effectexplained in the notification.
\nWe have submitted contempt of court against Aslam and hopeful that the decision will be in our favor he added. The APCA constitution does not allow a person to take part in election process or other affairs of the association who are not belonging to clerk communityinformed Mr Jadoon.
\nTalking about the clerks promotion, he said that a huge number of clerks were serving in various government departments for the past 30 years and waiting for their promotion which had created a sense of deprivation among them. He, therefore also demanded of the provincial government to promote the well experienced clerks to vacant posts in different departments and solve their problems on early basis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
