\nSpecial Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government has allocated Rs 200 billion more in the next budget than that of the last year for Sindh.
\nShe said RS 815 billion have been earmarked for Sindh under National Finance Commission award; whereas in the outgoing fiscal year, the amount was Rs 616 billion.
\nThis shows the importance being given to the federating units by the federal government.
\nThe Special Assistant said the budget guarantees protection of rights to people in all the provinces, including Sindh; and those who are beginners in politics do not understand this fact.
\nFirdous Ashiq Awan said special importance has been given to the tribal districts merged with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan province in the budget.
\nShe said those who are trying to create hindrance in adoption of the budget are not serious in development of the country.
\nEarlier, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan hoped that the PTI government and its allies would be able to get the new federal budget passed from the parliament without any hindrance.
\nAddressing a press conference in Islamabad, she said the government would achieve all the targets set in the budget proposals for the fiscal year 2019\/2020 for the benefit of the people and the country.
\nThe Special Assistant said the previous regimes of PPP and PML-N had left the national economy in a shambles, which is now going to take off due to the prudent policies of PTI government.
\nAbout meeting between PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz at Raiwind, she said both the leaders want to save their fathers who are facing corruption charges.
\nEarlier at their meeting in Raiwind, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Maryam Nawaz had hinted to block the passage of federal budget in the parliament, expressing their reservations on the budget proposals. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
