{"id":89367,"date":"2019-10-24T11:33:54","date_gmt":"2019-10-24T01:33:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=89367"},"modified":"2019-10-24T11:33:54","modified_gmt":"2019-10-24T01:33:54","slug":"kp-to-introduce-performance-base-salary-for-govt-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/kp-to-introduce-performance-base-salary-for-govt-employees\/","title":{"rendered":"KP to introduce performance base salary for govt employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Govt and its employees are getting salaries by tax payers\u2019 money so they should have to ensure delivery of services to facilitate the people: Jhagra<br \/>\nour correspondent<br \/>\nPESHAWAR<br \/>\nThe Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in one of its most significant decisions to-date has made provision of allowance to government employees conditional with performance.<br \/>\nMinister for Finance Taimur Saleem Jhagra Wednesday said that this budget, the provincial cabinet reduced its salaries to show commitment to change, before asking others to sacrifice.<br \/>\nSimilarly, the move to performance based pay would also start from top to down, starting with the senior most officials in government, he said adding that the decision would hopefully be implemented from 1st January.<br \/>\nTaimur Saleem Jhagra said out of an annual salary bill of more than Rs 200 billion, Rs 100 billion goes to various allowances and salary of top ups.
