{"id":98083,"date":"2019-12-19T09:49:45","date_gmt":"2019-12-18T23:49:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=98083"},"modified":"2019-12-19T09:49:45","modified_gmt":"2019-12-18T23:49:45","slug":"islamabad-police-host-farewell-for-outgoing-dig-waqar-chohan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/islamabad-police-host-farewell-for-outgoing-dig-waqar-chohan\/","title":{"rendered":"Islamabad police host farewell for outgoing DIG Waqar Chohan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>our correspondent<br \/>\nISLAMABAD<br \/>\nIslamabad police on Wednesday hosted a farewell party in the honor of Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad Waqar Ahmed Chohan whose services were handed over to  Interior Division for further posting in the Federal Investigating Agency (FIA).<br \/>\nThe farewell held at Central Police Office was attended by the Chief Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, IGP Islamabad, all DIGs, SSPs, AIGs, SPs, ASPs and other senior police officials of Islamabad police.<br \/>\nThe outgoing DIG Waqar Ahmed Chohan was paid glowing tributes by the Chief Commissioner, IGP Islamabad and other police officials who said that the service rendered by the Mr. Chohan would be long remembered by the ICT police.<br \/>\nIGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar said that Mr. Chohan is the best police officer having professional skills. His expertise in policing matters helped a lot to maintain law and order during public gatherings, the IGP maintained.<br \/>\nThe IGP said that Mr. Chohan contributed a lot to serve the people and accomplished his responsibilities with honesty and in a professional manner for improvement in policing affairs.<br \/>\nMr. Waqar Ahmed Chohan served in Islamabad police for a long time as AIG (Special Branch) and DIG (Security).<br \/>\nThe police officers appreciated the efforts of Mr. Chohan in ensuring transparency in the policing affairs.
