According to reports, the law enforcement agencies screened about 100 persons through CCTA cameras but so far no progress has been made to identify and arrest the criminals behind the Quetta blast.<br \/>\nMeanwhile the parts of head of the terrorist killed in the blast have been sent to Islamabad for DNA test.<br \/>\nIn their combing operation after the Quetta blast, Law enforcement agencies apprehended 100 suspects including two culprits on Tuesday night after conducting raids in District East and Malir. The two culprits were linked with May 12 riots in Karachi and were arrested upon the indication of detained nominated city mayor and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Waseem Akhtar.INP reported.<br \/>\nAccording to reports, important breakthroughs were made during investigation from the apprehended culprits, named Nasir Zia and Syed Salman Rizvi. The culprits revealed that MQM leaders ordered that the rally of former Chief Justice (CJ) Iftikhar Chaudhary be halted. They further revealed that MQM officials provided ammunition to them on May 10, 2007.<br \/>\nInvestigative officers stated that investigation against Nasir Zia and Syed Salman Rizvi was underway, further stating that raids were also conducted on two different locations upon the indication of the arrested culprits.<br \/>\nInvestigative officers added that significant arrests can be made in the light of Waseem Akhtar\u2019s interrogation report.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, crackdown against criminal elements continues in Karachi as 98 suspects were arrested during security forces operation in different parts of the city.<br \/>\nAccording to details, Rangers carried out an operation on a tip-off in PIB Ghosia Colony and arrested four suspects during a search of a residential building. Rangers sources said that the arrested persons were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.<br \/>\nOn the other hand, police conducted a search operation in Hazara Colony and apprehended at least 50 suspects.
