Young Vocalist Muneer Samejo passes away

SUJAWAL: The coastal town of Jati plunged into grief when Muneer Ahmed Samejo, a Young talented Vocalist, succumbed to a respiratory disease he was suffering from for the past few days at Civil Hospital Hyderabad on Saturday. He was rushed to the hospital when his condition started deteriorating where he breathed his last at the age of 16. The young singer earned appreciation by singing a famous Sindhi Song Chand Kakran Man Niktal at the Children’s Festival In Hyderabad around four years ago in the presence of culture minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah who called him an asset of Sindh. Since his emergence at a mega level, he became popular across the district and started performing in different events and marriage ceremonies. According to his family sources, he was taking proper training in music from a local singer. People hailing from different sheds of life termed his death a huge loss and said that it was hard to find such a talented and skillful singer. Academia and the teacher of the late singer Abdul Salam Thaheem said that the coastal town Jati had lost a bright star. He was well aware of the depth of music at a very young age and always tried to give his 100% in every performance.; he said. Our Correspondent
