PESHAWAR: Superintendent of Police (SP)-City Abdus Salam Khalid said on Saturday that 21 stolen and snatched Haqnawaz Shinwari motorcycles had been recovered and 10 gangsters involved in street crimes in the provincial capital were arrested in an operation. The official stated at a press conference that personnel from the Shaheed Gulfat Hussain and Paharipura police stations conducted joint raids against street criminals and arrested ten people, from whom cash and arms were recovered, in addition to the stolen motorcycles. “We have identified trouble spots in the city, and as a result, patrolling and surveillance in those areas have been increased.” These measures enabled the recovery of 21 motorcycles, which were also returned to their owners today,” he added.
