141 fatalities were reported and 4199 people tested positive due to COVID-19 during the last 24 hours in the country.
This is the highest death toll recorded in nearly last four months in the country.
As per the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) statistics the death toll has surged to 25220 including the new fatalities registered during one day.
61,410 tests were conduced and 4199 cases came out positive taking the total coroan cases to 1,135,858. The positivity rate now stands at 6.83%.
3,915 patients recovered from COVID-19 in one day taking the number of recovered cases to 1,019,434. At presen active cases stand at 91,204.
