ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has continued action against vehicles without M-Tags, reporting that 166,888 vehicles have been issued tags so far, including 3,130 in the last 24 hours, as checkpoints, readers, and service centers remain active across the city. According to the spokesman of ICT administration, action against vehicles without M-Tags is ongoing in the federal capital. Officials have activated readers at checkpoints across Islamabad to identify vehicles that are still without tags. Vehicles found without M-Tags are being stopped at different points, according to the Excise Department. At the same time, the process of installing M-Tags is continuing at 17 booth points set up in various areas of the city. These booths are working to facilitate vehicle owners who have not yet obtained the tag. Authorities said the system is aimed at ensuring wider coverage and smooth monitoring on city roads. APP
