As many as 242 people were infected and 4 succumbed to COVID-19 during the last 24 hours in the country.
As per the National Institute of Health (NIH) latest figures 13455 tests were conducted of which 242 returned positive taking the total number of positive cases to 1,569, 537.
The positivity ratio stands at 1.80 percent.
With 4 deaths during the last 24 hours the tally of fatalities has soared to 30586.
