27 foods, warm clothes trucks sent to Afghanistan

Al-Khidmat Foundation on Friday sent 27 trucks loaded mostly with food items and warm clothes to Afghanistan.
The head of the Al-Khidmat Foundation has said that 27 trucks loaded with essential food items and warm clothes were handed over to Afghan authorities at the border crossing. Khalid Waqas said that millions of people in neighboring country Afghanistan have been suffering from hunger and poverty.
They are in dire need of food, tents, warm blankets, tents and medicines due to cold weather, he added, and that support for the Al-Khidmat Foundation would be continued.
Additional Assistant Commissioner Landi Kotal Ashrafuddin and other officials were also present at the ceremony held at Torkham border. Afghan officials especially thanked Al-Khidmat Foundation of Pakistan for handing over relief goods to the people of Afghanistan.
