PESHAWAR
As many as 32 corona patients are under treatment in two major Peshawar Hospitals – Khyber Teaching Hospital and Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, spokesmen of the hospitals told media men here Sunday.
Spokesman of the Khyber Teaching Hospital Sajjad Ahmad said that currently 18 corona patients are being under treatment with the hospital management has allotted 122 beds for corona patients.
He said, 18 patients infected with corona are being treated at Khyber Teaching Hospital and the hospital has 28 ventilators reserved for corona patients with six are currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
He said 7 patients infected with Corona are undergoing treatment at HDU and 31 patients have been allotted and 5 corona patients with low amounts of oxygen are undergoing treatment. He said in the last 24 hours, 2 corona patients have been admitted with 104 are vacant for corona patients in the hospital.
Spokesman of the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar Muhammad Asim when contacted, he said, the number of corona virus patients in LRH has come down to 14. He said the hospital has allotted 400 beds for corona patients in LRH.
Currently 2 patients admitted in ICU and only 2 new patients have been admitted in the last 24 hours.
He said vaccine booster dose is playing its role in preventing corona.
