Four police officials including an SP were killed in a firing incident in Quetta.
According to media reports, the firing incident took place in Kali Deeba when some unknown armed masked men opened fire on police a mobile during its routine patrolling.
As a result of firing four police officials including one SP died on the spot.
Police have termed the incident as target killing. On the other hand police have cordoned off the area after the incident and started search operation.
It is vital to mention here that several days before two more people were killed including DPO police and 11 others police officials were injured as a result of a bomb blast in Balochistan near Afghan border in the area of Chaman.
PM strongly condemns martyrdom of police officials
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on police in Quetta, saying notorious aims of enemies will be foiled with support of public.
He also prayed for the early recovery of injured saying that such incidents cannot discourage the aim of security forces. He said they will fight against terrorists with spirit and establishment of peace in the province in priority of the government. He said militants want to create hurdle in prosperity of Balochistan after the CPEC which would not be allowed in any way.
