The Four-Day Free Medical Camp arranged by the Flood Relief Committee, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur in collaboration with PPHI, Khairpur District ended.
This camp was established on the directives of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto to provide medical cover to the flood affected people adjacent to University premises.
During four days, the PPHI Team and the Volunteers Team of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur rendered their services with humanitarian devotion and spirit. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Shaikh and Dr. Waqar Khaskheli, Medical Officers, Mr. Muhammad Haneef Ibupoto, Mr. Arif Shar and Mr. Tanveer Ahmed, Paramedical Staff, Prof. Dr. Farman Ali Mangi, Prof. Dr. Masihullah Jatoi, Mr. Farhan Latif Memon, Mr. Feroze Ali Phupoto, Mr. Ali Raza Lashari, Members Flood Relief Committee, Mr. Deep, Mr. Kamran Behan, Mr. Saeedullah Maitlo, Mr. Ubedullah Chandio, Mr. Naeem Khokhar and other Volunteers performed volunteer services for the patients.
It is recalled that 1810 patients were attended and medicines were provided them.
Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor has commended the humanitarian services rendered by PPHI Team headed by Mr. Rashid Ali Mahesar, District Manager PPHI, Khairpur and Members of SALU Flood Relief Committee for their contribution for the cause of humanity in the days of difficulties because flood victim people were badly affected so they are helpless for getting medical treatment and medicines.
Meanwhile, the Flood Relief Committee distributed the 210 Ration Bags among the flood affected families at the Ward No. 09 Muhalla Osta Gahi, Khairpur donated by Nankana Sahib Sangat, District Nankana Sahib, Punjab. Prof. Dr. Farman Ali Mangi and Mr. Ali Raza Lashari along with Volunteers also arranged 10 Daigs of cooked rice food among the flood affected people as extra food.
While on daily basis the 500 flood affected people are being provided two times cooked food.
