ISLAMABAD
The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) has opened the 4th edition of its Young Graduates Exhibition, “A World Out of Place,” curated by Noor Fatima, Consultant for Visual Arts and Marketing at PNCA.
The exhibition brings together the work of 53 emerging artists from leading art institutions across Pakistan.
Held at the Grand Hall and Gallery No. 2, PNCA, Islamabad, the exhibition presents a diverse range of contemporary practices, reflecting the ideas, concerns, experiences and evolving visual languages of a new generation of Pakistani artists.
Participating institutions include National College of Arts (NCA) Rawalpindi, Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi Women University (RWU), University of Gujrat, and COMSATS University Islamabad.
“A World Out of Place” considers the position of young artists navigating a rapidly changing social and cultural landscape.
The exhibition brings together varied approaches to painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, mixed media and other contemporary practices, creating a collective portrait of a generation negotiating questions of identity, place, memory, belonging and transformation. The Young Graduates Exhibition is part of PNCA’s ongoing commitment to providing a platform for emerging artists and connecting new artistic voices with wider public audiences.
