75 persons die, 2726 tested positive due to COVID-18 during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD : As many as 75 people succumbed to COVID-19 and 2726 people tested positive during the last 24 hours in the country.
According to the official figures provided by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the positive cases have soared to 911302 and fatalities tally has reached 20540 all over the country.

Pakistan on Thursday reported a positivity rate of 4.34%, which is the lowest since March 6 as the country sees a steady decline in coronavirus cases amid the deadly third wave of the pandemic.
About 831744 patients have recovered so far while 62706 tests were conducted out of which 2726 tested positive.
Number of active cases have been reported as 59018 so far.
As per province wise details of positive cases , Sindh has reported 313,059 cases, Punjab 337,073, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 131,027, Islamabad 80,779, Balochistan 24,823, Azad Jammu and Kashmir 19,008, and Gilgit Baltistan 5,533.

Corona vaccination is underway in Pakistan and people above 40 are being vaccinated. Adult vaccination centers have been set up in the country and all the vaccination process is being controlled through digital mechanism.

As many as 189 centers have been set up in Punjab for vaccination, 14 in Sindh, 280 in KP, 44 in Balochistan, 14 in Islamabad, 25 in Azad Kashmir while 16 centers in Gilgit-Baltistan.
