Chairman Qaumi Watan Party, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has called for accurate and impartial census so that the correct figures could be obtained for national development. He said that incorrect, politicised and unreliable process would create complications and it would lose the public trust. He objected that contrary to other provinces a different mechanism for census had been adopted for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which would lead to misgivings and apprehensions. He said that K-P government should be taken on board on the whole exercise of census as lack of coordination between federation and KP would be detrimental to the interests of the country.
