Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister for Irrigation & Social Welfare Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao has asked the federal government to take notice of the probable atrocities with KP in the national census and like, other provinces, census with justice should be done here in the province otherwise QWP would protest against the federal government.
He expressed these views in a joining public gathering at Dang Qillah Tangi District Charsadda on Friday. UC Nazim Haji Allah Dad, Asif Khan, Haji Fazal Hameed, Nadar Khan, Gul Siyar and Abdur Rehman along with hundreds of friends announced to quit different political parties and joined QWP on the occasion. Sikandar Sherpao said that his party has serious observations regarding census as in the census, counting of Sindh would be made in Karachi and counting of Punjab would be made in Lahore, but under a conspiracy, the counting of KP census had been planned to be done in Islamabad. He said his party’s observations are genuine because due to this counting in Islamabad, the people of KP might face injustices.
He said atrocities had been done in the past with KP, we had been kept deprived of our rights by usurping our resources but this time such things would not be allowed to happen.
The minister on the occasion announced a number of development schemes for the area of Tangi District Charsadda. He said the services of Rescue 1122 would soon be started in District Charsadda that would provide immediate relief to the people of the area in case of emergency.
