Islamabad(Online): A youth died in firing by police personal allegedly for not stopping his car at police check point in sector I/10 while the woman sitting beside him remained safe.
Sources said that the incident happened on night between Thursday and Friday when a man, Taimoor, resident of Mardan, father of two children was on his way while riding a car along with a female, resident of Lahore. At Sabzi Mandi check point two police personnel of eagle squad including Sami and Tariq tried to intercept them but they didn’t stop
Police personal Sami opened fire. Resultantly, Taimoor died on the spot having received two bullets in his head while the female, Maheen remained safe. Police took Maheen in their custody and shifted her to police station. Both police officials fled the scene and they did not return the arms at duty place.
On the other hand, police have shifted the dead body of Taimore Riaz without postmortem to save the skin of their fellow beings.
On the other hand head of PIMS Dr Altaf took notice of the incident, suspended the hospital staffers on duty forthwith and ordered inquiry into the matter.
Rafiq, maternal uncle of the victim Taimore told media men police fired 3 to 4 bullets and they have not tried to stop him.
Police said that both boy and girl were drunk and medical check up of girl will be got carried out.
