Federal Minister for Railways Kh Saad Rafiq Wednesday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was punished in every tenure for strengthening the country and serving the masses.
Talking to media outside the supreme court while the journalists were protesting over the attitude of IT Minister Anusha Rehman towards their colleague, the Railways Minister for quite some time tried to persuade the journalists to give up their protests and then said that the conspiracy to defame Nawaz Sharif and his family, hatched by Imran Khan will fail.
He said the government believes in the freedom of press but said some people belonging to PTI are involved in today’s protest of journalists.
The Railways Minister said Panama case has been made a political issue and it is being contested in streets and on media.
He accused Imran Khan, Sheikh Rashid and Sirajul Haq for carry out media trial of Nawaz Sharif and the government. He said the conspiractors cannot snatch the mandate of PML-N and Ikran Khan will also be made accountable.
