Coronavirus tally in India Friday crossed one million mark, reaching 1,009,406 with 25,664 deaths so far.
Global confirmed COVID-19 cases crossed the number of 13.98 million, while a total of 593,464 people worldwide have died of the disease, the data showed. The United States suffers the most from the pandemic, with 3.7 million cases and a death toll of over 141,130. Brazil is the second worst affected country with over 2 million cases and a death toll of over 76,822, followed by India.
Russia is at number four with 759,203, while countries with over 300,000 cases include Peru, South Africa, Mexico, Chile and Spain. Over 8.3 million patients have so far recovered from the disease across the world.
