Provincial Chairman (QWP) and Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao has expressed concern over the biased and racial discrimination being carried out against Pukhtuns in Punjab and termed it a malicious conspiracy against the integrity of the Pakistan.
In a statement issued here, Sikandar Sherpao has demanded immediate halt to the racial discrimination adding that actions should be taken, under the National Action Plan (NAP), against all those who are promoting racism in the country. chairman said that Pukhtuns are being marginalized in Pakistan.
He criticized the federal government for its biased policies against the smaller provinces adding that Punjab is being developed at the cost of exploiting the resources of smaller provinces. He further said that despite the 18th constitutional amendment, KP is not being given control over its natural resources. Additionally, the federal government is delaying the provision of net hydel arrears to the province in an attempt to halt the development of the province.
