SWABI: A man in a Suzuki van fell to his death after being hit by a vehicle on the Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway near Swabi Inter-Change here on Sunday, Police confirmed the incident. In other traffic accidents, eight people including three women were injured. Syed Mir Khan, a resident of Peshawar, while registering an FIR at Lahore Police Station Swabi, said that he was on his way to Peshawar in a Suzuki van when he reached the Lahore Police Station area on the Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway, another vehicle hit by the Van coming from behind. As a result, Ijaz Ahmed, who was riding in a Suzuki van, fell on the road and was seriously injured. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. The women riding in the rickshaw, wife of Aziz-ur-Rehman, resident of Manki, wife of Sultan, resident of Jalbai, wife of Wazirullah, resident of Zakaria, Sultan-ur-Rehman, resident of Manki and rickshaw driver Yaseen, resident of Jalbai were also injured in the collision. Similarly, Abdul Rehman and Waqif Khan were injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a rickshaw at Tordheer. Rescue 1122 medical team reached the spot, provided medical aid to the injured and shifted them to Bacha Khan Medical Complex. While Ziarat Gul Sakna Factory Gadoon was injured in a motorcycle collision. Police have registered separate FIRs and launched an investigation. Our Correspondent
