PTI to purge country of corruption, pollution: Bangash

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister KP for Information and Local Government Kamran Bangash on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will save the country not only from corruption but also from pollution.
The special assistant said this while inaugurating the urban forestry campaign by planting a tree here at Chamtar Ada.

Talking to media on the occasion, Kamran Bangash said, “Today, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of Clean and Green Pakistan is being implemented.” He added that even before this, with public support, the PTI government had successfully planted one billion trees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which has been praised at international fora. He maintained that this time the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami project will also be successfully completed.
Talking about the ongoing tree planting drive in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Bangash said that tree plantation drive is underway at 850 places in the province for which the services of Tiger Force, general public and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers are being utilized.
Appreciating the role of Tiger Force and the people in the tree plantation campaign, Bangash said that the role of the people and Tiger Force in the plantation campaign is commendable, which will be remembered in golden words in history. He said, “The opposition has always criticized the formation of the Tiger Force but today the fruits of it are in front of you.”
He said that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan personally planted trees in Regi Lalma Town Peshawar so that the people could also be mobilized in this regard.
Appealing to the people on the occasion, Bangash said that they should plant trees for themselves and their future generations.
Referring to the opposition, he said that he hoped that the opposition parties would also play their role in the cause of Clean Green Pakistan.
