Minerals Development Department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa launched the 17th Pakistan gems and minerals show on 13th march, 2017 for three consecutive days.
The exhibition is being held at Zever Hall, Pearl Continental Hotel, Peshawar will showcase the vast variety of precious and semi-precious gems and minerals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the honorable Chief Minister Mr. Pervez Khattak.
He highlighted the efforts of Minerals Development Department, Government KP reviving the mineral sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He also mentioned multiple endeavors that the current government is undertaking g to ensure greater for specially minerals development sectors.
Mr. Sikander Haat Khan Sherpao, Senior Minister Government of KP, Mr. Zyed Zahir-ul-islam, Secretary Minerals Development Department, Mr. Farhan khan, Chairman APCEA and Mr Gulam Dastagir, Chairman KP EZOMC also addressed the occasion.
Everyone praised the initiative of arranging gems and mineral show after a decade long gap.
The speakers of the event expressed their commitment and dedication to work for a progressive Khyber Pakhtunkawa Government and it was stressed that gems and minerals resource of the province needs to be emphasized and utilized to its maximum potential.
The 17th Pakistan gems and minerals show will continue for the next two days.
