Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has said that we are working for empowerment of women. “we are working to empower women. Women parliamentarians can bring major change in the society. Women are enjoying equal opportunities in the democracy in Pakistan’, She said this while addressing a three day International Conference organized by The Women’s Parliamentary Caucus in Pakistan. on “The Role of Women Parliamentarians in Strengthening Democracy and Social Justice” here Monday.
“Women’s Caucus role is very vital in empowerment of women’, she held. Women are playing central role in leading companies of the worlds, she added. Pakistani Malala Yousafzai is the youngest Pakistani who has received noble prize. Women are striving to work shoulder to shoulder with men.
There were a lot of responsibilities for women in home. She added. Women parliamentarians can bring massive change in society. Women are facing myriads of problems in the society. To pull them out from the fear and poverty is the need of hour. She underlines.
