CCPO expressed satisfaction over the security arrangement for census

PESHAWAR: Chief Capital City Police Officer Peshawar Tahir Khan Thursday visited several areas in the provincial capital and examined the security arrangements put in place for the sixth census.
The CCPO visited inner city, rural area and Cantonment areas and reviewed the security arrangement had been put in place.
Other senior police officials accompanied the CCPO during the visit.
The CCPO expressed satisfaction over the security arrangement for census.
He directed the cops to ensure security of the census staff and directed the cops to follow the standard operating procedure (SOPs).
The CCPO told the reporters that stringent security arrangements had been put in place and checkpoints had been established at the entry and exist point to the city on the eve of census.
He said that search operations have been carried out in the district against anti-social elements.
