ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) while putting NAB on notice on the matter of bail after arrest case of Mir Shakil ur Rehman has adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks. A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Mushir Alam took up the case for hearing Thursday. Khawaja Haris counsel for Mir Shakil ur Rehman took the plea during the hearing that the case was registered against his client on the matter of 1986 land. This land related to LDA which was given to his client after due approval. The relevant land was given to him with the approval of Chief Minister Punjab. Mir Shakil was arrested on March 12, 2020. His client is still on judicial remand. The old land case was made base to arrest his client. Online
