ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has ordered the Sindh government to pay travelling expenses to the lawyers of concerned parties due to unnecessary adjournment. The court has maintained in the order that Sindh government should pay Rs 50000 each to the lawyers Imdad Ali and Zamir Ullah before next hearing. A two members bench of SC presided over by Justice Qazi Faiz Isa took up the case for hearing Thursday. The court rejected the plea of Additional Advocate General (AAG) Sindh seeking more time. Justice Qazi Faiz Isa remarked AAG Sindh could not file copy of written reply. The court had directed on previous hearing to ensure attendance. We have no powers for adjournment. Both the lawyers have come from Hyderabad Sindh, They should be paid their travelling expenses. AAG Sindh had taken the plea that he should be given time for two days.
