KHYBER AGENCY: Two Frontier Corp (FC) soldiers martyred and four other sustained bullets injuries when militants attacked at their post, located at Tor Mor(black curve), SpeenaSuka (white mountain peak) on Pak-Afghan sharing border,the remote area of tehsil LandiKotal of Khyber Agency.
The security forces sources while sharing details said that on the Thursday and Friday night at 2:00 am, numbers of militants, equipped with sophisticated weapons, approached from Afghanistan side waged a sudden offense on the forces checkpoint. In attack two FC personnel identified as naibsubedar Said Jan and lance naikJahanZebAfridi embraced Shahadat on the spot while four their colleagues got seriously wounded who were shifted to Military hospital, Peshawar for medical treatment.
Azizurrehman, Zia-ul- Islam, Jan Alam and WashmaGul were among the injured,forces official informed.
In retaliation the forces foiled the militants attempt and killed six attackers including their commander.
The forces through reinforcement beefed-up security measures at the border to avoid any untoward incident, sources said.
