Capital City Police Peshawar on Monday arrested 40 suspected persons and anti-social elements during search and strike operations during three days in the provincial capital, an official said. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP-Operations) Sajjad Khan said that the search and strike operations were carried out on the directives of the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Tahir Khan. He said that the operations were carried out in the inner city, Cantonment, Saddar and rural areas. He said that the police arrested 40 criminals involved in cases of drugs sellers, other crimes and 8 TIF. He said that the police also recovered 6 kalashnikov, 4 gens, 25 pistols, 4 magzine, cartridges, 11 bottles liquor were also seized in these actions,” said Sajjad Khan
