KARACHI : City Court Karachi has issued show cause notice to investigation officer for not presenting challan of desecration of mausoleum and sloganeering case without objections.
The case came up for hearing before the court Friday.
Capt (Retd) Safdar did not appear before the court.
The counsel for Capt (Retd) Safdar said his client is in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), therefore, he should be given exemption from attendance.
The court expressed displeasure for not presenting challan of the case without objections.
The court issued show cause notice to investigation officer.
The court remarked the challan be presented on next hearing and the reason for delaying the matter be explained.
The investigation officer prayed that he has informed the senior officers and he should be given three days time.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till November 9.
