MULTAN, Dec 23 (Online): Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said if opposition parties want to give resignations then what is hindrance and they should give.
“If opposition parties want to give resignations then they should do give. Then what is this hindrance that resignations be sent to leadership. If they really want to give resignations then their resignations should reach speaker Assembly till December 31, he said this while talking to media men here Wednesday.
There was clear direction from Prime Minister that no hindrance be created in PDM public meeting at Lahore, he remarked. All saw what happened. Opposition was given opportunity to become Shaheed in Multan due to ill conceived strategy. Had they been allowed to enter in stadium then they would have remained neither Ghazi , nor Shaheed.
He held PTI is adhering firmly to its stance. We are not pursuing stubbornness and our doors are also not closed. You want to talk on some issues and we are ready for it. But if you want to stage protest then we are ready to entertain you.
To a question he said JUI-F is a larger party but it is now splitting up. JUI-F is not looking agreed over the narrative they are now taking along.
