MALAKAND
The Special Police Unit (SPU) arrested an alleged terrorist involved in attacks on security forces here on Friday. The SPU on a tip-off conducted a search operation in Dheri area of Malakand Agency.
During search operation an alleged terrorist identified as Muhammad Alam Shanga was apprehended. The nabbed terrorist was involved in attacks on convoys of security forces in 2009 in which several security personnel were martyred and dozens others injured.
The detainee was shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
