‘Ham’ schools must be eradicated : Saeed

Karachi – January 28 (Online): Sindh’s minister for education and works Saeed Ghani has said that only those schools should be kept in the system which have more than thirty enrolments of students.
He chaired a meeting of officials of department of school education in his office on Thursday.
‘Code SEMIS’ policy for the current schools all over the province was reviewed in this meeting.
Secretary education briefed the participants that all schools have been located on Google maps and number of schools per 2 km distance can easily be seen through it.
The provincial minister directed officers to integrate ham schools in other major schools and to eradicate ghost schools.
